There is little doubt 2009 has been a roller coaster of a year and we look forward to 2010 with some optimism. We have seen many changes in the types of products we have been selling over the years and 2009 was no exception. In 2009 there was a large increase in the number of enquiries and subsequent sales for Vision Punch Benders. We already have forward orders for these machines for the early part of 2010 and we expect 2010 to be another record year for sales of these machines. This year was also another good year for sales to the PCB market with installations both in the UK and overseas.

There is definitely an air of uncertainty in the financial markets around the world. The currency markets have seen a dramatic increase in the value of the Euro against all major currencies. As most of our competitors are based in the Euro Zone our equipment is nearly 20% cheaper since the increase in the value of the Euro. Who knows which way the markets will move over the next few months but most of the experts expect the Euro to remain strong. As our prices are based in Sterling our customers can enjoy the savings by purchasing from us. We are concentrating on the equipment to be shown in October at IFRA. As IFRA is a dedicated exhibition for the Newspaper industry, we will be demonstrating our Vision Punch Bender which can be supplied either as part of an automatic CTP line or hand loaded and unloaded. In addition to the Vision Punch Bender we will also be showing examples of our manual and conventional double edge, pneumatic benders. Although we do not close for the summer, with our staff taking holidays, we appreciate if our customers could give us as much notice as possible when placing orders. We do have a reasonable stock of standard punches and benders but if equipment has to be made to order there could be a small delay in completing these orders.
AUTUMN 2009
Now the summer holidays have been completed we are starting to turn our attention to IFRA. We will be exhibiting the latest version of our Inline Vision Punch Bender. Various options are now available including an option to increase the speed of the machine from 160 plates to 260 plates per hour. We have supplied several systems with bar code readers and have also supplied machines to suit process less plates. With the Vision Punch Bender range starting at just €26,500.00 we are able to supply a machine at a price and level of automation to suit all customers.
